Perched on a ridge with views to east and
west, this original farmhouse is exquisitely sited on 740 feet of
high bank waterfront on 25 acres overlooking Useless Bay and the
Maxwelton Valley.
Bring family or friends for a time of play and sharing you won't soon
forget, or steal away by yourself or with your sweetie for the kind
of peace and quiet that restores your inner peace.
Curl up on the huge down filled
couch and watch the flickering fire with a cup of cocoa and a book
of short stories from the library. Get into the spirit by singing
around the piano or beating out rhythms on the Mexican table drums.
Prepare gourmet meals in the fully furnished kitchen.
This two story 1,990 sq. foot farmhouse sleeps eight with a double
bed on the main floor and two queens and two singles in the rustic
attic. One Bathroom, Gas range, microwave, TV, VCR, CD, washer/dryer.
Watch the alpacas from your living room window and feel the magic
of these peaceful animals. Be on the lookout for their sunset ritual
play of chasing and stolting around the pasture. At Maxwelton Aerie,
it's just you, nature, and the alpacas. Ask caretaker Bill to introduce
you to the alpacas if you see him in the pasture. Baby Gabriel may
even eat carrots out of your hand.
The wonders of nature breath life into you. Stairs zig
zag down the bluff to connect you with miles of beach at low
tide. Clams, crabs, sand-dollars and moon snails abound. Heron, brandt,
geese, ducks and seagulls feed on the tidelands. If you awake early,
you may catch the resident eagles perched in the tall snag watching
for their breakfast.
The magic of Maxwelton Aerie is captivating. Once you've experienced
it you'll want to return year after year. Carolyn Geise, Bill Jobe
and Bill Fraser invite you to become a part of the growing group of
people who are loving and participating in this magical place.
